Get Started in 3 Simple Steps

There is nothing to install. Microsoft ships the Ideal Postcodes extension natively within the platform for all Business Central users in the UK and Ireland by default from release 28.

1. Enable in Service Connections

In Business Central, go to Service Connections → UK Postcode Service → select Ideal Postcodes as your provider. No coding required.

2. Get your API key

Create a free account, choose a plan based on your lookup volume, and paste your API key directly into the BC setup page.

3. Start Validating Addresses

Enter a postcode on any card - customer, vendor, contact, employee, bank account - and select from a verified address list.
